Date Energy Balls: 3 Easy Recipes

Date energy balls are one of the easiest no-added-sugar snacks you can make. The dates hold everything together and provide all the sweetness, so there is no need for sugar or syrup. Soft Medjool work best.
The basic method
Blitz pitted dates in a food processor to a sticky paste, add your other ingredients, blend, then roll into balls and chill. Keep them in the fridge.
1. Nut and cocoa

Dates, desiccated coconut and a little lemon zest, rolled in extra coconut. Fresh and light.
For more, try date paste as a base or add it to smoothies.
