Where do your dates come from?
Our dates come from Jordan, many of them in the warm Jordan Valley, one of the world’s finest date-growing regions. They are grown and harvested at origin in Jordan, which means full traceability from grove to box.Our Medjool and Ajwa come from Jordan, many of them in the warm Jordan Valley, one of the world’s finest date-growing regions. Our Balah Barhi is sourced from Egypt for Australia. Each is grown and harvested at origin, which means full traceability.
Do your dates contain added sugar?
No. Our dates are 100% natural fruit with no added sugar, no syrups and no unnecessary preservatives. Their sweetness comes entirely from the date itself.
What is the difference between Medjool, Ajwa and Barhi?
Medjool is large, soft and richly sweet with caramel notes; Ajwa is darker, finer and milder in sweetness; and Balah Barhi is small, golden and creamy with a butterscotch character. Our blog has a full comparison guide.
Are your dates suitable for gifts?
Absolutely. Dates are a traditional and much-loved gift, especially around Ramadan and other celebrations. Get in touch and we can help you put together a selection.
How should I store dates?
Keep them sealed in a cool, dry place for everyday use, or refrigerate them to keep softer varieties fresh for longer. They also freeze well for several months.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes, we are happy to discuss larger and wholesale orders. Please contact us with your requirements and we will get back to you personally.
How does the donation work?
A fixed share, 5% of every purchase, goes towards building the Haj Abd Ar-Rahman Qur’an School in Kufranjah, Jordan. We are always happy to tell you how much is given and how it is currently used.
