A school rooted in Kufranjah
Kufranjah is a green town set in the hills of the Ajloun region in northern Jordan, and it is where the Al Freihat story begins. Supporting a Qur’an school here means giving back to the very community our dates come from.
The Haj Abd Ar-Rahman Qur’an School gives local children a place to learn to read, recite and memorise the Holy Qur’an, and to understand its meaning, guided by dedicated teachers, close to home.
What your purchase helps support
- Teaching & memorisation. Everyday Qur’an lessons and تحفيظ (memorisation) for the children of the town.
- Learning materials. Copies of the Qur’an and the simple things a classroom needs.
- A place to gather. The upkeep of a safe, welcoming space for learning.

How the 5% works
For every order placed with Al Freihat, 5% of the purchase value is set aside for the school. It is not added on top of your price and it is not optional for us, it is simply part of how we trade. Every box you buy carries that contribution with it.
